Born in Lanark, Scotland, Jake Cogan comes from a huge family of Irish descent and is the youngest of a long line of musicians. Unsurprisingly therefore, she began singing at an early age in theatre, choirs and in the front room with her family and has been performing pretty much ever since.
We first met Jake Cogan and The Liberty Roses at a Boo Hewerdine concert where they were the support act. They mentioned to Boo that they were looking for someone to design them a new website and, pleased with the website that we built for him, he was keen to point them in our direction!The debut CD Jake Cogan & The Liberty Roses is officially released in January 2011 but you can get a copy in advance through the website and we'd strongly recommend that you do.
