Hermione is the daughter of the late Irish singer, Christie Hennessy, who, despite being a classically trained musician and accomplished singer, had never really pursued her own musical career herself but instead chose to work in the music industry as a manager. That is until 2009, when she began to record the songs Christie had suggested to her in the months before his death.
Songs My Father Taught Me is Hermione's debut album and Simply Marvellous Creative were asked to design the packaging for the album and singles as well as the website, marketing material, email marketing and social media. The design reflects Hermione's musical legacy and the story behind the album.
